Before You Order

Frequently Asked Questions

A few helpful things to know about ordering from a home-based bakehouse.

Do you have a storefront?

No. The Conjured Crumb is a home-based bakehouse. Orders are arranged in advance rather than purchased from a walk-in shop.

How does pickup work?

Pickup details are provided directly to confirmed customers. For privacy, the exact pickup address is not posted publicly on the website.

How do I place an order?

Use the order-inquiry links on the website or email orders@conjuredcrumb.com with your date, quantity, flavors, theme and any inspiration you have.

How far ahead should I order a custom cake?

The earlier the better. Custom cake availability depends on the date, design complexity and current order schedule. Sending an inquiry does not guarantee the date until the order is confirmed.

Do you offer preorder drops?

Yes. Limited preorder menus may open for specific pickup dates. Quantities can be capped so each batch stays small and thoughtfully made.

Do you require a deposit?

Custom-order payment and deposit requirements are provided with your quote. An order is not considered booked until the required payment terms are completed.

What about cancellations?

Because custom orders reserve production time and often require advance ingredient or decoration purchases, cancellation terms may vary by order. Those terms will be shared before payment.

Can you accommodate food allergies?

Ingredients containing common allergens are used in the kitchen. While ingredient questions are always welcome, the kitchen cannot be represented as allergen-free and cross-contact may be possible.

Do you deliver?

Pickup is the standard option unless another arrangement is specifically discussed and confirmed for an order.
